We wrote this document because we got tired of watching good people pay forever for a thing that should be theirs. We did not set out to start a company because we loved web hosting. We started one because we hated what web hosting had become. Five things broke, in this order.
Every week, we meet someone who paid $1,800 for a website they cannot edit, on a platform they do not own, with a domain registered under someone else’s name. They did not choose this. It was the default. We are here to change the default.
